Use: For treatment of acute sinusitis due to H influenzae, S pneumoniae, or M catarrhalis. Fecal samples should be obtained for diagnostic testing before starting therapy; therapy should be adjusted based on those results. Therapy may be started before test results are known; appropriate therapy should be continued when results are available.
